Income, goals, balances, debts, expenses and scores are shown only when you entered them. Where a figure is missing, North says it does not know that yet and gives you the action to add it — it does not fill the gap with a plausible-looking number, and it never infers your finances from your name, job title or city.

• Profile: name, occupation, country, city, timezone, currency, primary goal.
• Money you entered: monthly take-home income and each goal's target, amount saved, monthly contribution and target date.
• Learning: which lessons you started or completed, and your step within them.
• Ask North: your messages and the replies, so your history persists.
• Progress: streak, XP and the dates of meaningful activity.

There is no bank connection, no card data, no transaction import and no credit-file lookup.

Each Ask North request includes only:

• Your message and the recent conversation.
• The current date, local time and your timezone, so 'next month' and 'three months away' are calculated, never assumed.
• Your selected currency, so amounts are never shown in the wrong unit.
• The profile facts and goal figures listed above — the ones you actually entered.
• An explicit list of what North does not know, so the model asks instead of guessing.

Your email address and authentication identifiers are not part of the prompt. The request travels to an AI gateway and model provider that generate the reply on North's behalf.

North reads your browser's timezone and computes every duration from the current moment — today, tomorrow, this week, this month, next month and any date you name. Nothing about dates is hardcoded, so a target in November is described as however far away it genuinely is.

• Knows — a figure or fact you entered, repeated exactly.
• Calculates — arithmetic on your figures and today's date.
• Estimates — a labelled assumption or typical range, shown with the working so you can substitute your own number.
• Doesn't know — stated plainly, with the action to fix it.

• Download everything North holds for you as a JSON file, from Profile → Privacy & Data.
• Delete your Ask North conversation history without deleting your account.
• Delete your account and its data permanently.
• Edit or remove any figure — income, goals, location, currency — at any time.

Traffic is encrypted in transit, authentication is handled by a managed provider, and database rules restrict every row to the account that owns it. No system is perfectly secure, and North makes no certification or audit claims. Details in the Privacy Policy.
