Terms of Service

North is an educational financial tool. It helps you organise information you enter, understand financial concepts, track goals you set yourself, and ask questions of an AI assistant. It is a thinking aid, not a financial institution.

• North is not a bank, broker, lender, insurer or payment service. It does not hold, move or invest money.
• North is not a licensed financial adviser, tax adviser, accountant or lawyer, and nothing in the product is personal financial, tax or legal advice.
• North does not connect to your bank, cards or investment accounts and does not import transactions.
• North does not execute trades, transfers or applications on your behalf.

• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter — North's calculations and answers are only as good as the figures you give it.
• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share access with someone you would not want seeing your financial information.

You agree not to:

• Use North for anything unlawful, fraudulent or intended to harm others.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or to bypass security or access controls.
• Scrape, resell, rebrand or redistribute North's content or AI output as your own service or as professional advice to others.
• Overload, probe or interfere with the service, or use automated tools to abuse the AI features.
• Upload other people's personal or financial information without their permission.

North may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Ask North, lessons, briefs and market context are generated or assembled automatically. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and North cannot see live prices, your accounts or anything you have not told it. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on. Any financial decision you make — saving, spending, borrowing, investing, filing taxes — is your decision and your responsibility. North does not guarantee any outcome, return, saving, approval or result, and past performance of anything discussed does not predict future results.

North is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside North's control. Nothing here promises uninterrupted or error-free operation.

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant North permission to store and process it in order to operate the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data at any time from Profile → Privacy & Data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, North is not liable for financial loss, lost profits or savings, missed opportunities, tax consequences, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from decisions you make based on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using North and delete your account at any time. North may terminate access for breach of these terms. On deletion, the data North holds for you is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

These terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
