Everything in North — Ask North answers, lessons, daily briefs, market context, goal projections and suggested actions — is provided for general education and information. It does not account for your full circumstances and is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product. No guaranteed outcomes
North does not and cannot guarantee any return, saving, payoff date, approval or result. Any figure describing a future outcome is a projection from the numbers you entered, not a promise. Investment values can fall as well as rise, you may get back less than you put in, and past performance never predicts future results.
How to read North's confidence
North separates what it knows from what it works out and what it cannot know. Answers are framed accordingly:
Facts you entered yourself: name, occupation, country, city, currency, income, and each goal's target, amount saved, monthly contribution and target date. North repeats these back exactly as given.
Arithmetic on those facts and on today's date: months remaining to a goal, projected completion month, percentage funded, how far away a date is. Correct if your inputs are correct.
General assumptions used to illustrate a concept — typical ranges, rounded rules of thumb, illustrative rates. These are labelled as assumptions, and you should substitute your own real numbers.
Anything you have not told North: expenses, debts, investments, account balances, credit score, bills and transactions. Also live market prices, today's news, and the specifics of your tax position. North says so rather than guessing.
Limits of the AI
- Answers are generated by a language model and can be incomplete, outdated or simply wrong, even when they sound confident.
- North has no access to live market data, prices, rates or today's news, and cannot tell you what a security is trading at right now.
- North has no connection to your bank, cards, investments or credit file, and sees only what you typed in.
- Tax, benefit and product rules differ by country and change over time. North points you to the rule that matters rather than asserting specifics it cannot verify.
- North does not recommend individual securities, funds, tickers or providers.
- Verify anything material with an authoritative source, or a licensed professional, before you act.
Your data, your figures
North never fabricates financial values. If it does not have a number, it tells you and offers you the place to add it. That also means any projection is only as accurate as the income, target and contribution figures you keep up to date.
